APPE (Append to Existing File)

 

The APPE FTP server subcommand accepts the transferred data and stores it in a file on the FTP server. If the file that is specified exists, the subcommand appends the data to that file; otherwise, the subcommand creates the specified file.

 

FTP server subcommand

APPE filename

filename

The file that will receive your data on the FTP server.
