Uninterruptible power supply message queue system value (QUPSMSGQ)
The uninterruptible power supply message queue (QUPSMSGQ) system value determines which message queues the power supply messages are sent to.
The system sends messages about the power supply to the system operator (QSYSOPR) message queue regardless of the value that is specified in the system value. If you specify a different message queue, that message queue also receives the same power supply messages. Specify a different message queue if you have one of the following conditions:
- You want another message queue to receive the power supply messages (for example, the data processing manager's message queue).
- You have a program that handles events that are related to the uninterruptible power supply.
