Here are the steps for configuring your PC client with DNS on Windows® XP.
To configure your PC client with DNS on Windows XP,
follow these steps:
- Click the Start button to open the Start menu.
- Select Control Panel.
- Click Network and Internet Connections.
- Click Network Connections.
- Select the appropriate connection and click Change settings of this connection.
- Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
- Click Properties.
- Click Advanced.
- Select the DNS tab.
- Specify the host name, domain, DNS service search order, and domain suffix search order for DNS.
- Click OK.
