To configure your PC client with DNS on Windows Vista,
follow these steps:
- Click the Start button to open the Start menu.
- Select Control Panel.
- Click Network and Internet.
- Click Network and Sharing Center.
- Click View status.
- Click Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP 4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IP 6).
- Click Properties.
- Click Advanced.
- Select the DNS tab.
- Specify the host name, domain, DNS service search order, and domain suffix search order for DNS.
- Click OK.
