Here are the steps for configuring your PC client with Domain Name System (DNS) on Windows® Server 2003.
To configure your PC client with DNS on Windows Server 2003, follow these steps:
- Click the Start button to open the Start menu.
- Select Control Panel.
- Click Network Connections.
- Select Local Area Connection.
- Click Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
- Click Advanced.
- Select the DNS tab.
- Specify the host name, domain, DNS service search order, and domain suffix search order for DNS.
- Click OK.
