If you installed or upgraded to a POWER6™ model and are starting the system for the first time, follow these steps to start your system and locate the load source. Before you begin this procedure, be sure that you have completed the necessary hardware planning procedures and that you are familiar with how to set up and operate the Hardware Management Console (HMC).
