Suggestions for editing a DBCS conversion dictionary
There are certain considerations when editing the DBCS conversion dictionary.
- You can use DBCS conversion with the Edit Related Words display to enter related words into a user-created dictionary. See DBCS conversion (for Japanese use only) for information about this procedure. Figure 1. Display for Deleting a Conversion Dictionary Entry
- Place the most commonly used DBCS words at the beginning of the list of related words on the Edit Related Words display. This simplifies DBCS conversion because the system displays the related words in the same order in which those words are listed in the dictionary.
