i5/OS requirements

 

For a System i™ product to communicate over Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), it must be running i5/OS^® V5R3, or later, or OS/400^® V4R4, or later, and have the following applications installed.

• TCP/IP Connectivity Utilities for i5, 5722-TC1 (Base TCP/IP support)

• IBM^® HTTP Server for i5/OS, 5722-DG1 (for access to Digital Certificate Manager)

• Digital Certificate Manager, 5722-SS1 - Boss Option 34
