DB2 UDB for iSeries to non-DB2 UDB for iSeries blocking

 

DB2^® UDB for iSeries™ to non-DB2 UDB for iSeries blocking will not occur when one of these conditions is true.

• The cursor is updatable (see note 1).

• The cursor is potentially updatable (see note 2).

• The ALWBLK(*NONE) precompile option is used.

• The row size is greater than approximately 16 KB.
