Removing members

 

You can use the Remove Member (RMVM) command to remove a member and its contents from a database file.

After the member is removed, it can no longer be used by the system. This is different from just clearing or deleting the data from the member. If the member still exists, programs can continue to use (for example, add data to) the member.
