Services are accessible by the service name in the IBM WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console.
Starting with Version 6 of WebSphere Portal Express you can no longer set these properties by simply changing the property value in the properties file and restarting WebSphere Portal Express. The configuration for each service is stored in and accessible through the administrative console.
