Searching Sites
You use Portal Search to search for text displayed in Web sites created by IBM® Workplace Web Content Management™.
To search for text displayed in a Web site do the following:
- Create a search collection in Portal Search and then make a site searchable.
- To search Web sites viewed using a rendering portlet, you can use a search form containing a search element, or use either the Search Center, or a Search and Browse portlet.
- To search Web sites viewed using the Web content servlet, use a search form containing a search element.

You can use the Search and Browse portlet to search for Web content by adding a IBM Workplace Web Content Management search collection to the configuration of a new Search and Browse portlet.- Configuring Search Center to search for Web content
