Linking content items to site areas
When a content item is first created, select a site area to save the content item under. You can link content items to other site areas using the Link To , Add Links or Copy buttons.
Template maps
When choosing a site area to link a content item to, ensure that the site area you choose has a valid template map between the authoring template and presentation template you would like to use with the selected content item.

Using the Link To button
- Select the content items to link to other site areas.
- Click Link To.
- Click Add
- Select the site area you would like to add them to.
- Choose one of these options:
- First child to move the content item as the first listed content item within a site area.
- Last child to move the content item as the last listed content item within a site area.
- Click OK .
Using the Add Links button
- Select the Site Area you would like to link your content to and then click the Add Links button.
- Select the content items you would like to add.
- Click OK.
Using the Copy button
- Navigate to a content list.
- Select a content item.
- Click Copy.
- Select a library.
- Select a site area or a content item to copy the content item under.
- Choose one of these options:
- First child to move the content item as the first listed content item within a site area.
- Last child to move the content item as the last listed content item within a site area.
- Before selected item to move the content item prior to the selected site area or content item.
- After selected item to move the content item after the selected site area or content item.
- Click OK.
