Work with components
You use components to store a single element. There is a different component-type for each element-type.
You may receive timeout errors when saving components that store large amounts of HTML or rich text. To rectify this you can:
- increase the total transaction lifetime timeout setting of your WebSphere Portal Express server. See Increasing server time-outs for further information.
- create multiple HTML or rich text components and then reference these in your component designs.
