By default, the credential settings in the CSEnvironment.properties file are set to use an LTPA token for user login. You can override the settings to use an internal IBM® Lotus® Sametime® token instead.

This change is required in a site where the Lotus Sametime server is protected by Computer Associates eTrust SiteMinder.

Perform the following steps:

  1. Modify the CSEnvironment.properties file

  2. To override this setting so that the Lotus Sametime token will be used, change the following setting to the following value:

    CS_SERVER_SAMETIME_1.useLTPAToken=false

If CS_SERVER_CUSTOM_CRED.enabled is set to true, and the value for CS_SERVER_CUSTOM_CRED.ssoTokenAttrib is set, the token that is set will be used for logging into Lotus Sametime instead of the LTPA token.
