Algorithm mapping collection

Use this page to view a list of custom uniform resource identifier (URI) algorithms for digest value calculation, signature, key encryption, and data encryption. WebSphere Application Server maps these algorithms to an implementation of the algorithm factory engine interface. With algorithm mappings, service providers can extend the cryptographic algorithms for XML digital signature and XML encryption. To view this administrative console page on the cell level, complete the following steps:

1. Click Security > Web services .

2. Under Additional properties, click Algorithm mappings .

1. Click Servers > Application servers > server_name.

2. Under Security, click Web services: Default bindings for Web services security .

3. Under Additional properties, click Algorithm mappings .

Algorithm factory engine class

The custom class that implements the engine factory implementation class for the algorithm factory engine.

The implementation class for the engine factory implements the cryptographic functions of the defined uniform resource identifier (URI).
