Administer vanity URLs
We can use ConfigEngine tasks to administer vanity URL support. We can also configure the IBM HTTP Server so that we can use short vanity URLs.
- Staging vanity URLs to production
- A vanity URL is a portal artifact stored with the portal page that it targets. Vanity URLs are managed and stored in the Web Content Manager Portal Site library. To stage vanity URLs to production, you stage the IBM Web Content Manager page that the vanity URL targets.
- Enable vanity URL support
- Provide short vanity URLs
- Configure the vanity URL preview link
- Synchronize the vanity URL database
- Set an error URI for undefined vanity URLs
