Manage global settings

Define the settings for the portal server. When we have completed the option selection, click Save. To restore to the previous selection of options, click Reset. A message informs you for which portal server we are setting portal settings. The Global Settings portlet does not work in portal cluster configurations.

• Specify the default portal language
  
• Specify how to handle portlets the user is not authorized to view
  
• Specify what users see initially when they log in to the portal
  
• Specify the search engine that opens when users select Find
