Configure the Manage Custom Unique Names portlet
We can specify the number of resources to be listed on the page, configure how the resources will appear to all users or to particular instances of the portlet, or make individual changes to the portlet, depending on the available options and the task to perform. Depending on the access rights, we can configure or edit some of the standard features of the Manage Custom Unique Names portlet. To configure or edit the portlet:
- Hover the mouse over the portlet title bar and view the downward arrow.
- Click the downward arrow to open the portlet context menu with portlet mode selection options.
- Select the appropriate option from the menu, depending on the available options and the task to perform:
- To change how the portlet will appear to all users, click Configure.
- To make changes to a particular instance of the portlet for all users, click Edit Shared Settings.
- To make individual changes to the portlet, click Personalize.
The panel for configuring, editing, or personalizing the portlet settings appears.
- Enter the required numbers and make the required selections:
- Never show more than this number of items
- This is an input field. Use this field to specify the maximum number of resources to be listed on the page.
- Show this number of rows per page
- This is an input field. Use this field to specify the maximum number of resources to be listed on the page.
- Optional table columns
- This is a list with one or more check boxes for adding more columns to the table. Mark the check boxes for the desired columns to have those columns added to the table of the portal resources.
- Click OK to save the configuration updates, or click Cancel if we do not want to save the updated configuration. Manage Custom Unique Names returns to the main panel. We can also return by selecting Back from the portlet context menu.
