Integrate with IBM Connections

Integrate with IBM Connections is a multiple step process. Review the high-level steps before you begin.

IBM Connections must already be installed.

IBM Connections portlets are not included with HCL WebSphere Portal, but we can download them at no charge from the IBM Lotus and HCL WebSphere Portal Business Solutions Catalog.

The following is a high-level view of the integration process. For detailed instructions see the HCL WebSphere Portal information center in the wiki.

1. Download the IBM Connections portlets from the IBM Lotus and HCL WebSphere Portal Business Solutions Catalog.

2. Deploy the portlets using the instructions provided with them.

3. Configure single sign-on for IBM Connections and HCL WebSphere Portal.

4. Configure HCL WebSphere Portal to support the portlets.
