Web Dock application
Web dock applications are created as clones of the Web Dock portlet. Content authors add these Web doc clones to their pages using the application list.Create web dock applications from the Virtual Web Application Manager portlet after creating the content provider profile, and at least one associated policy.
Create meaningful titles.
After selecting the content provider profile, enter a resource path for the content provider. The resource path, combined with the profile host, is the content provider resource URL, otherwise known as the bootstrap URL.
The bootstrap URL is the first content loaded on the web page in the Web Dock portlet. The policies created for the profile are loaded at the time.
