Switching from HCL WebSphere Portal 9.5 Practitioner Studio to the HCL WebSphere Portal 8.5 and 9.0 Login interface

With the HCL WebSphere Portal 9.5, a new login user interface is presented. HCL Digital Experience Administrators can switch back to the HCL WebSphere Portal 8.5 and 9.0 user interface by configuring the portlet.

1. In the Administration menu, go to Applications > Portlets.
2. In the Search by field, select Title contains.
3. In the Search field, enter login and click the Search button.
4. Click the Configure portlet icon.
5. Go to the ShowLegacyLoginView Preference and click the Edit value icon.
6. Set Value to true, and click OK.
7. Click OK.
8. Click Logout to see to see the changes made.
