Import pages or page hierarchies using the XML Import portlet

We can import an XML configuration file to the HCL WebSphere Portal portal site by using the XML Import portlet. To import an XML configuration file using the Import XML portlet, proceed as follows:

1. Click the Administration menu icon. Then, click Portal Settings > Import XML.

2. Locate the XML configuration file that we want to import. Use Browse to help locate the file.

3. Click Import to import the configuration file.

4. When the import is complete, the portlet shows a success message.
