Suspending or resuming search rule experiments

Search rule experiments can exist in the store in two states: running or suspended. We can suspend an experiment if we want the experiment paths in the search rule to become inactive. While the experiment is suspended, only the control path (the top path) in the search rule remains active on the store pages. We can resume an experiment by setting the status back to running.

Procedure

1. Open the Marketing tool.

2. From the explorer view, click Search Rules. The Search Rules - List page opens.

3. Right-click the search rule containing the experiment for which we want to change the state; then click Open.

4. Click the Experiment element.

5. On the General Properties tab, set the Status option to either Running or Suspended.

6. Click Save and then click Close.
