Granting API permissions
Organization WCIntegrationOrg must be loaded and API permissions must be granted to the group WCIntegrationGroup.
Before starting
The activator scripts, specifically the non-enterprise activator script, must be run.
Procedure
- Log into the Applications Manager.
- As an administrator, log on to Sterling Order Management by pointing the browser to http://<hostname>:<port>/smcfs/console/login.jsp (or start.jsp) where,
- hostname is the computer name or IP address of the computer where Sterling Order Management is installed.
- port is the listening port of the computer where Sterling Order Management is installed. Obtain the port from the HTTP transport port line in <Configurator_PROFILE>/logs/AboutThisProfile.txt.
The browser displays the Sign in window. Enter your login ID and password and choose the Sign In button.
- In the Console Home Page, choose Configuration > Launch Applications Manager.
Note: To run the Applications Manager, use Internet Explorer with the required Java plugin. See Troubleshooting: Applications Manager does not start.
- Choose Applications > Application Platform. The Application Platform window opens.
- From the application rules side panel, choose the Load Rules for Organization icon. The Load Organizations for Configuration pop-up window displays
- Load the organization WCIntegrationOrg.
- Select Security > Groups and select the WCIntegrationGroup.
- Click Permission next to the API Security and set permissions to allow WCIntegrationGroup access to the following services:
- SCWC_SDF_getInventoryAvailability
- SCWC_SDF_cancelReservation
- SCWC_SDF_getCompleteOrderDetails
- SCWC_SDF_getOrderList
- SCWC_SDF_reserveAvailableInventory
- SCWC_SDF_getOrderLineDetails
- SCWC_SDF_changeOrderRealTime
