Checkout flows
Checkout flows describe pages that our customers use to complete the checkout process. The following pages are included:
- Shopping cart page
- Address page for unregistered checkout
- Shipping and billing method page
- Order summary page
- Order confirmation page
The Free Gift page and the Discount Details page are included if these promotion types are available to customers.
- Shopping Cart/Current Order page
For a B2C store, the Aurora starter store includes the Shopping Cart page. For a B2B store, the equivalent page is titled the Current Order page.- Shipping and Billing Method page
The Aurora starter store provides two versions of the Shipping and Billing Method page layout: one version is for B2C stores, and the other is for B2B direct stores.- Order Summary page
The Aurora starter store provides two versions of the Order Summary page layout: one version is for B2C stores, and the other is for B2B stores.- Order Confirmation page
The Aurora starter store provides two versions of the Order Confirmation page layout: one version is for consumer direct (B2C) stores and the other is for B2B stores.- Quick Order Page
Shoppers can use the quick order page to place an order with the Aurora starter store without browsing through any other store pages. Shoppers can add more than one item to the shopping cart and click Order. Items can be added to the shopping cart by entering the SKU number and quantity of each product into the quick order form.- Free Gift page
The Free Gift page is a pop-up window that displays a selection of gifts for customers to choose from. The Free Gift page is only visible to customers if the store is running gift promotions and the specific order qualifies for the gift.- Discount Details page
The Discount Details page displays the details of a promotion, which include the short description and the long description that is defined in the promotion properties. The page is displayed when customers click promotion links on the storefront.- Address: unregistered checkout page
The unregistered checkout page is where unregistered customers can specify their billing address and their shipping address when completing the checkout process.- Quick Checkout Page
The Quick Checkout feature allows shoppers to complete an order with predefined information from the quick checkout profile.- Apple Pay on the Web site flows
The site flows provide a screen capture and description for each store page that includes Apple Pay on the Web functions.
