Run the authoring server update script
If you deploy changes to the WebSphere Commerce database schema, such as adding a new table, these changes must also be made in the workspace schemas. This script allows you to recalibrate the workspace schemas with the master database schema. Without recalibration, the authoring server will not work with the new changes to the base schema, and may cause data lost or inconsistency.
Procedure
- Verify that the WebSphere Commerce Server is not running. If so, stop the server.
The WebSphere Commerce server must not be running since this tool updates the workspace schema structure.
- Type the following script on a command line:
updateWorkspacesTable.bat -debug EXTCATALOGDSC CONTENT_MANAGED
This script takes a single table from the base schema and updates the table in the workspaces.
