Troubleshoot: Logging on to WebSphere Portal Server fails after creating a portal cluster
The WebSphere Portal Server Administration Console fails to login after creating a portal cluster. The following error is shown: EJPSD0019E.
The SystemOut.log shows the following error:
0000006b DefaultLoginF E com.ibm.wps.auth.impl.DefaultLoginFilter doLoginWithExceptions WpsException occured: com.ibm.wps.services.authentication.exceptions.AuthenticationException: EJPSD0019E: An unknown error occurred during login com.ibm.wps.auth.ErrorBean@b57f23.
Solution
- Log on as:
- wasuser
- A user with administrative authority
- Start the WebSphere Application Server administration server.
- Open the WebSphere Application Server Administration Console.
- Navigate to Security > Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure..
- Select Enable Application Security.
- Save the changes and restart the servers.
