Add a reseller price for a manufacturer's catalog entries (reseller)

This task applies only when you are using the demand chain business model. You can add a reseller price for the manufacturer's catalog entries (products, SKUs, and prebuilt kits).


Procedure

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. To add a reseller price to a manufacturer product:

    1. Open the Catalog Entry Search page:

      • Click Merchandise > Find Catalog Entries.

      • Click Products > Find Catalog Entries.

      The displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

    2. Find the product to change.

    3. Select a field in the product row that to change, and from the Prices menu, click Set Prices.

    4. The Product Pricing page displays. Click Add Price Range.

    5. Define the price range specifications,...

      • Use the list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.

      • Add the product price range for volume pricing in the Range field, to specify a quantity of products for a certain price.

    6. Click OK. Under the Price column of the new price range row, type the price of the product.

    7. To save the new reseller product price, click OK.

  3. To add a reseller price to a manufacturer SKU:

    • Click Merchandise > Find Catalog Entries.

    • Click Products > Find Catalog Entries.

  4. To add a reseller price to a manufacturer prebuilt kit:

    1. Open the Bundle and Kit Search page:

      • Click Merchandise > Find Bundles or Kits.

      • Click Products > Find Bundles or Kits.

    2. Find the prebuilt kit to change.

    3. Select the prebuilt kit to add the price and click Prices.

    4. The Pricing page displays. Click Add Price Range.

    5. Define the price range specifications,...

      • Use the drop-down list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.

      • Add the prebuilt kit price range for volume pricing in the Range field, to specify a quantity of products for a certain price.

    6. Click OK. Under the Price column of the new price range row, type the price of the kit.

    7. To save the new reseller price, click OK.


What to do next

If the changes to the catalog data do not display in the store, the Site Administrator might need to disable caching or remove the currently cached JSP pages.
