Open or closing stores (Channel Manager)
Before customers can access a store, the store must be opened. Only stores with a status of Closed can be opened. Closing a store prevents customers from accessing a store. Stores should be closed before making any changes to the store. The Channel Manager can open or close the store for the reseller allowing or preventing customers from accessing the store.
Procedure
- Open a store:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Channel, Extended sites, or Supplier menu, click Stores. The Stores page displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box to the left of the store that to open. Only stores with a status of Closed can be opened.
- Click Open. The store is given a Opened status.
- Close a store:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Channel, Extended sites, or Supplier menu, click Stores. The Stores page displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box to the left of the store that to close. Only stores of Open can be closed.
- Click Close. The store is given a Closed status.
