Remove a dialog
Dialogs are a common user interface element in the IBM Sales Center. Dialogs are used when the user chooses to perform an action and needs to provide additional information.
To remove a dialog, remove the menu item or button that launches the dialog. The dialog will not be removed, but the path to the dialog will not be available. If the dialog is launched in the IBM Sales Center client base code, do not remove the menu item or button. Instead:
Procedure
- Define the own extension definition to the user interface element that launches the dialog. The new extension will have all of the default items except for the one to remove.
- Use the system configurator to indicate that the new user interface element will be used instead of the old one.
