Changing key mapping for OpenLaszlo actions

Key mappings or shortcuts can be configured for OpenLaszlo actions that you use frequently.

Two OpenLaszlo actions have default keyboard shortcuts configured:

Action	Default shortcut
Build OpenLaszlo Project	Ctrl + Alt + B
Open an OpenLaszlo type	Ctrl + Alt + L

The default shortcuts can be altered or you can create a new shortcuts.

Procedure

1. Start WebSphere Commerce Developer.

2. Click Windows > Preferences. The Preferences dialog opens.

3. Expand Workbench and click Keys.

4. Enter values in the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. For example, to create a shortcut...

   1. In the Command area, select OpenLaszlo Commands in the Category field.

   2. Select Open OpenLaszlo Hierarchy in the Name field.

   3. Cursor to the Key Sequence area.

   4. Use the keyboard, press the combination of keys. For example, press Ctrl + Alt + G. The key combination is automatically entered in the Name field.

   5. Click Add

   6. Click Apply > OK to save the change.

5. Click Navigate. You see the keyboard shortcut associated with Open OpenLaszlo Type in Hierarchy.
