Trigger: Customer Registers

Use this trigger in a Dialog activity to begin or continue the activity as soon as a customer successfully registers with the store.

This trigger provides a means to reach out to customers when they first register with the store, which is usually an indication that they have a keen interest in the store at this point in time. Targeting these customers with marketing materials or promotional offers can encourage them to make a purchase.


Example

Here is an example of a Dialog activity that uses this trigger effectively:

When a customer registers with the store, wait for 7 days. Then check the customer's purchase history to determine whether the customer has placed an order since registration. If not, send the customer an e-mail message offering a coupon for 10% off an order placed in the next week. Issue the coupon to the customer.
