Activating error notification

Once you have set the system default settings for the e-mail transport method you can activate error notification.


Procedure

  1. Open the Configuration Manager.

  2. Expand WebSphere Commerce node name > Commerce > Instance List > instance > Log System. The Log System page displays.

  3. Check the Notification Enabled check box.

  4. Restart the WebSphere Commerce Server.


What to do next

Once you have activated error notification, you can assign the error condition message type to the e-mail transport.
