Activating error notification
Once you have set the system default settings for the e-mail transport method you can activate error notification.
Procedure
- Open the Configuration Manager.
- Expand WebSphere Commerce node name > Commerce > Instance List > instance > Log System. The Log System page displays.
- Check the Notification Enabled check box.
- Restart the WebSphere Commerce Server.
What to do next
Once you have activated error notification, you can assign the error condition message type to the e-mail transport.
