Disable features
To uninstall a WebSphere Commerce feature pack, disable any features first.
Before you begin
- The WebSphere Commerce feature pack contains features that you can disable. If you plan to disable any of the features in the feature pack, create backups of the current configuration.
To backup the application:
- Sign on to the application server machine:
- Log on as the wasuser user.
- Log on with a user ID that is a member of the Windows Administration group.
- Issue the following command:
- WC_PROFILE/bin/backupConfig.sh backup_file.zip
- WC_PROFILE/bin/backupConfig.bat backup_file.zip
Where backup_file specifies the name of the backup file. The system will create this file for you in the WC_PROFILE/bin directory.
- If restore the configuration, use the restoreConfig command on the application server machine:
- WC_PROFILE/bin/restoreConfig.sh backup_file.zip
- WC_PROFILE/bin/restoreConfig.bat backup_file.zip
Where backup_file specifies the name of the backup file created with the backupConfig command.
- Backup the database or restore the database.
- Backup the DB2 database or Restore the DB2 database.
- Backup the DB2 database or Restore the DB2 database. For all other databases, see the database vendor's user manual for information about backup and restore procedures.

Procedure
Disable one or more features:
Option Description Feature Pack 1 To disable the Management Center feature, first disable the store-enhancements feature.
