Error "content of the database manager configuration file is not valid"
After migrating the DB2 database to a higher version, you get an error message when you run the updatedb or enablefeature command.
Problem
After migrating the DB2 database, you see the following error:
SQL5050C The content of the database manager configuration file is not valid. Error in MassLoading, please check logs for details.
Solution
Ensure that you successfully complete steps 6 to 10 of Migrate the database from DB2 V9.5 Fix Pack 4 to DB2 V9.7 Fix Pack 1. Make sure that the XML file is updated properly and that the SQL command runs successfully.
