Custom installation components
Overview
When you perform a custom installation, each of the following components can be installed on separate nodes.
WebSphere Commerce Server
This component provides all of the functionality of WebSphere Commerce except for WebSphere Commerce Payments.
Selecting this component installs the following subcomponents on the node:
- WebSphere Application Server
- WebSphere Commerce Server
- WebSphere Commerce Information Center
- Starter stores
- WebSphere Commerce Payments (Deprecated)
Remote WebSphere Commerce Management Utilities
Remote WebSphere Commerce Management Utilities allow you to create instances and configure WebSphere Commerce and WebSphere Commerce Payments on remote nodes.
WebSphere Commerce Information Center
The WebSphere Commerce Information Center is a subcomponent of the WebSphere Commerce Server. Selecting this component installs the context sensitive help for the following languages:

DB2 Database
Selecting this component allows you to install and configure...
- DB2 Database v9.5.4 Server
- DB2 Administration Client
Select DB2 Database Express Edition v9.5.4 if you are installing the database on the local machine.
Select IBM DB2 Database Administration Client if the database server is remote.
Selecting to install DB2 Database v9.5.4 Server automatically installs the database and the administration client.
IBM HTTP Server
Selecting this component installs and configures IBM HTTP Server v7.0. It does not install any other versions of IBM HTTP Server supported by WebSphere Commerce. It also installs the WAS plug-in for IBM HTTP Server.
WebSphere Application Server Web server plug-in for IBM HTTP Server
This option is only available if IBM HTTP Server is detected on the system and the WAS Web server plug-in for IBM HTTP Server is not detected.
Selecting this component installs the WAS Web server plug-in for IBM HTTP Server.
