Enable IBM Gift Center tracing
Add trace statements to the code is helpful for problem determination outside of the development environment.
Within the development environment, you can enable tracing by performing the following tasks in the WebSphere Commerce test environment:
- Starting the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console
- Click Troubleshooting > Logs and Trace.
- Select WC_ profile_name Application Server > Diagnostic Trace.
- Click Configuration and select the Enable log check box.
- Click Change Log Level Detail Levels.
- In the Trace Specification field enter the following trace string:
com.ibm.websphere.commerce.WC_GIFTREGISTRY=allNote: You can enter the trace string directly, or generate it using the graphical trace interface. For more information, refer to Working with trace in the WebSphere Application Server information center.
- Save the configuration.
- Restart WebSphere Commerce.
