Enable Coremetrics analytics for WebSphere Commerce Sales Center

You can enable Coremetrics analytics for WebSphere Commerce Sales Center by running a script.

  1. Ensure that WebSphere Commerce Feature Pack 2 is installed.

    To check if WebSphere Commerce Feature Pack 2 is installed or enabled on the machine, see Troubleshooting the WebSphere Commerce Feature Pack.

  2. Ensure the Coremetrics enhanced Web analytics is enabled.This was included in WebSphere Commerce Feature Pack 1.

  3. Ensure the latest Coremetrics fix is installed.

  4. Start the WebSphere Commerce instance or WebSphere Commerce Developer test server.

  5. Run the enablement script to deploy new assets...

     
    cd  WC_INSTALL/bin
    ./config_ant.sh -buildfile WC_INSTALL/components/common/xml/enableFeature.xml 
                    -DinstanceName=instance 
                    -DfeatureName=cm-salescenter 
                    -DdbUserPassword=db_password
    


Results

When the Coremetrics analytics for WebSphere Commerce Sales Center feature has been successfully enabled, a message such as, "Build Successful" is displayed on the command prompt.

If the build has not been successful a message such as this one displays:

BUILD FAILED file:/opt/WCS60/components/common/xml/serverEnablementTasks.xml:119: Java returned: 105
