Disable WebSphere Application Server security
You can disable WebSphere Application Server security.
Procedure
- Start the WebSphere Application Server administration server.
- . Launch the WebSphere administrative console
- For each server that is running the WebSphere Commerce application...
- Expand Security and click Global security.
- Clear the Enable administrative security check box.
- Clear the Enforce Java 2 security check box which is selected by default.
- Clear the Enable application security check box.
- Click Apply.
- Click Save to save the Master Configuration.
- Restart the WebSphere Application Server administration server. When you restart the WebSphere Application Server Administration Console, we will be prompted for a user name and password.
- Open the Configuration Manager.
- Select WebSphere Commerce > node_name > Commerce > Instance List > instance > Instance Properties > Security
- Verify the Enable administrative security check box is not checked.
- Verify the Enable application security check box is not checked.
- Click Apply.
- Close the Configuration Manager.
