Enable the collection of marketing statistics
To capture marketing statistics, you might need to enable specific components. Statistics are stored in the database so that business users can access the data to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and experiments.
Procedure
- Open the Configuration Manager.
- Expand the node with the machine name, expand the Instance list, and select the instance to modify.
- Expand the Components section of the tree.
- Select and enable the components for the type of statistics that to capture during site usage:
- For Management Center statistics:
Type of statistics Component to enable Campaigns and activities You do not need to enable any components to gather campaign and activity statistics for Management Center; this happens automatically. Experiments
- ExperimentEvaluationEventListener
- Captures revenue statistics for test elements in marketing experiments by correlating the order to the test element that the customer saw.
- OrderSubmissionEvent
- The event that the ExperimentEvaluationEventListener uses.
The server gathers revenue statistics using the RaiseECEvent scheduled job. By default, this job runs every 5 minutes. You can change the frequency of this job; see Statistics considerations.
- For WebSphere Commerce Accelerator statistics:

- Captures view and click statistics for e-Marketing Spots.
- CampaignLoggingEvent
- The event that the CampaignLoggingEventListener uses.
- OrdersMgpPersistListener
- Tracks the relationship between orders and the customer segments to which the customer belongs.
Product Advisor
- ProductAdvisorInvocationListener
- Captures statistics produced by all Product Advisor metaphors in the store.
- ProductComparisonInvocationListener
- Captures statistics produced by all Product Comparison metaphors in the store.
- ProductExplorerInvocationListener
- Captures statistics produced by all Product Explorer metaphors in the store.
- SalesAssistantInvocationListener
- Captures statistics produced by all Sales Assistant metaphors in the store.
Experiments
- ExperimentLoggingEventListener
- Captures view and click statistics for test elements in marketing experiments.
- ExperimentLoggingEvent
- The event that the ExperimentLoggingEventListener uses.
- ExperimentEvaluationEventListener
- Captures revenue statistics for test elements in marketing experiments by correlating the order to the test element that the customer saw.
- OrderSubmissionEvent
- The event that the ExperimentEvaluationEventListener uses.
- For WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, if you are enabling listeners for Product Advisor or WebSphere Commerce Analyzer:
- Select the UserTrafficEventListener component.
- Enable the component.
- Stop and start the WebSphere Commerce Server.
