Vertical scaling
Vertical scaling involves adding more processors, or in our case, more WebSphere Commerces to a single copy of an operating system. However, before doing this you should ask yourself:

| Can our JVM use these CPUs? |
|
|
|
| Can we fully utilize the CPUs we already have? |
|
|
|
| Do we need more JVMs? |
