Activating and deactivating shipping codes

In order for a shipping code to be applied to product or categories in an order, it must be activated.

To activate or deactivate shipping codes:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. From the Store menu, select Change Shipping. The Shipping overview page is displayed. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.

  3. Click Shipping codes. The Shipping Codes page is displayed.

  4. Select the shipping code to be activated or deactivated. Click Activate or Deactivate as necessary. The information in the Status column changes to Activated or Deactivated.

  5. Update the calculation registry for the changes to take effect.

    Your changes will not take effect until the registry is updated. Ask your Site Administrator to update the calculation component in the registry using the Administration Console.
