Sending a broadcast e-mail to stores (Enterprise)

The Channel Manager or Site Administrator may want to send out a broadcast e-mail to a certain category of stores, such as all open stores, or all closed stores, rather than send a message to individual stores.

To send a broadcast e-mail to stores:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. From the Extended sites menu, select Broadcast e-mail.
    The Broadcast page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Type the e-mail address of the sender.
  4. Select the recipients you would like to send this e-mail to.
  5. Type any additional recipients for this e-mail, and use a comma to separate the e-mail addresses.
  6. Type the subject of the broadcast e-mail.
  7. Type the message that you would like to send in the e-mail.
  8. Click Send, and the e-mail will be scheduled to run whenever the system has available resources.
