Sending a broadcast e-mail to stores (Enterprise)
The Channel Manager or Site Administrator may want to send out a broadcast e-mail to a certain category of stores, such as all open stores, or all closed stores, rather than send a message to individual stores.
To send a broadcast e-mail to stores:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Extended sites menu, select Broadcast e-mail.
The Broadcast page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.- Type the e-mail address of the sender.
- Select the recipients you would like to send this e-mail to.
- Type any additional recipients for this e-mail, and use a comma to separate the e-mail addresses.
- Type the subject of the broadcast e-mail.
- Type the message that you would like to send in the e-mail.
- Click Send, and the e-mail will be scheduled to run whenever the system has available resources.
