Unlocking a contract (Enterprise)
A Site Administrator, Sales Manager, or Seller can unlock a contract for a user. For example, if a user's system stops while the user is editing the contract, the contract may be locked on the system, and an administrator must unlock it. Also, if one user is editing a contract, this locks the contract and prevents other users from editing it. To unlock a contract that has been locked by the system or another user:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Select Sales > Accounts.
The Account List page displays, containing business accounts currently defined for the selected store. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.- Select the check box to the left of the account containing the contract you want to unlock. Click Contracts. The Contracts list displays, containing contracts currently defined for the selected business account.
- Select the check box to the left of the contract that you want to unlock. Click Unlock. The page should now display the updated status of the contract.
