Troubleshoot: Flash compatibility with Management Center

If you receive a message indicating that your version of Flash is not compatible with Management Center, you might need to uninstall Flash and reinstall an updated version.

 

Problem

You may encounter an error message, indicating that you do not have the correct level of Flash required for the Management Center. You require Flash 9 or above to use the Management Center; however, Adobe has a technote for Flash 9.0.115.0, which requires you to uninstall your version of Flash and reinstall it.

 

Solution

  1. Determine the level of Flash you have installed, by visiting http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/. Adobe detects the level of Flash you have installed and indicates that level in the "VInformation" box within this Web page. If you have version 9 or above and cannot access the Management Center with this version, then follow step 2.

  2. Refer to Adobe technote 14157, referenced at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507&sliceID=2 to uninstall and install your version of Flash.

  3. Log onto the Management Center and ensure you can access the tools.
