Use the Catalogs tool with workspaces
Multiple users cannot edit the same catalog entry in different workspaces. The Management Center locks a catalog entry when a user is editing it. The relationships to the catalog entry, such as sales catalogs that the catalog entry is part of, or merchandising associations related to the catalog entry can be edited when the catalog entry is locked. Additionally, catalog entries and categories are locked when the parent changes. During this process, the navigational relationships, such as the previous category group identifier, are locked.
