Create a new Web activity experiment

Web activity experiments present an alternative marketing message in place of the control Web activity. To create a new test Web activity:

1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
2. Click Marketing > Experiments.
   A list of the currently defined experiments displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
3. Click New. The Experiment Properties dialog displays.
4. Complete this page as required selecting the values appropriate for the experiment you want to create.
5. Click the Experiment Definitions tab to proceed with the experiment creation.
6. Complete this page as required selecting the values appropriate for the Web activity you want to create. Ensure that you select Activity Testing from the Experiment Type list.
7. Click OK to save the experiment. The new experiment displays in the Experiments list.
