Problem(Abstract)
|
You define a promotion to affect a certain category when
you create a promotion using the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator. Your
category name contains an ampersand '&', a semicolon ';', or a percent
sign '%'. When you select this category name, it fails with a message such
as :
The categories listed below are being removed because they do not match
with the categories in the current database. Click Search to find valid
categories.

Cause
|
Special characters, used to format parameters when passed
through a URL, are not being properly encoded by the WebSphere Commerce
Accelerator, and are misinterpreted.

Resolving the
problem
|
This problem (APAR JR25944) is resolved in Fix Pack
5.6.1.3 and 6.0.0.3 or newer. You can obtain the Fix Packs from the WebSphere Commerce fixes by version page.
