WebSphere Commerce Accelerator hangs after upgrading to WAS Fixpack 6.0.2.19 or higher
Problem(Abstract)
WebSphere Commerce Accelerator appears to hang with the "please wait while loading" message displayed indefinitely.
Symptom 1. Apply WAS Fixpack 6.0.2.19 or higher.
2. Login to WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
3. Select a store that has no fulfilment centre associated with it, such as the Extended Sites Catalog Asset Store.

The problem can be reproduced through several different menu options. For example:

Option A
1. From the top menu select Products -> Catalog Management.
2. From the catalog tree select a category and click List Catalog Entries.

Option B
1. From the top menu select Products -> Catalog Management.
2. From the catalog tree select a category and click New Product.

Option C
1. From the top menu select Products -> Find Catalog Entries.
2. On the Catalog Entry Search page enter your catalog entry information and click Find.

Option D
1. From the top menu select Products -> Find Categories.
2. On the Category Search page enter a category in the search field and click Find.
3. Put a checkmark beside the category that was returned and click List Products.

All of the above options will result in the appearance that Accelerator is hung with a "please wait while loading" message displayed indefinitely.

If you have a javascript debugger enabled in your browser you may see a javascript error. Cause A change in how the WAS handles cookies with null values was introduced in WAS Fixpack 6.0.2.19. Resolving the problem Contact WebSphere Commerce support for APAR JR27373.
